What to expect

  • Guided tour of the camp grounds and museum
  • Visit to the Jail Block (Hut 9) with original cell doors
  • Handling of artefacts and military objects
  • Nissen hut recreation showing life as prisoner and soldier
  • CfE-aligned learning resources
  • Suitable for P5 and above

Practical information

  • Cost: £2 per pupil
  • Group size: 18 to 30 pupils
  • Duration: approximately two hours
  • Available Tuesdays, April to October
  • Staff to pupil ratio required: 1 to 10
  • Teachers and adults are responsible for health and safety throughout
